Happy Thanksgiving from V2!

It’s that time of year again. The air is crisp and cold, the comfort food is in the oven and the holiday deals are just around the corner. But it’s also a time to reflect on the things that drive us and help us stay positive through every single day.

At V2, there’s a lot to be grateful for. From weekly catered lunches, to dog-friendly offices, to a dedicated professional development program, V2 has a ton to offer its employees to allow them to thrive in both their personal and professional lives. We take pride in our industry-leading benefits package, allowing our team to take full advantage of our commitment to employee well-being, company culture and work-life balance.

We all have someone or something that keeps us going, whether it’s close friends and loved ones or things that make coming to work every day just a bit better. I asked my fellow V2ers to identify theirs. Here’s what they said:

“I’m grateful to live in a world where Gloria Steinem is alive and well, and currently on tour to promote her ninth book at the age of 85 – what a treat.” – Jordan Stanley

“This year – after moving to New York earlier this fall – I’m thankful for the new opportunities here in a new city.” – Liam Sullivan

“I’m thankful for all the opportunities I’ve had this year to make new connections and learn new skills. Every year gets better!” – Jenna Gilligan

“Dog-friendly offices, fun coworkers and the new Tatte down the street!” – Kristen Leathers

“This year, I’m giving thanks that my husband and I were able to purchase our first home, and we’ll be able to host both our families for Thanksgiving. Although, some might call us crazy to host with boxes still left to be unpacked (but that’s what basements are for, right?)!” – Megan Nealon

“I’m thankful for the opportunity to learn from smart, talented and dedicated colleagues every day. And for our Bevi machine!” – Erin Cooper

“For my first job out of college, I’m proud to be a V2er and thankful to learn from such intelligent, friendly and collaborative people.” – Caroline Shamon

“I’m grateful all year for both the health and happiness of my loved ones. This Thanksgiving, though, I’ll be giving thanks for having my sister move back to the East Coast from San Francisco, for an increasingly exciting life in New York City and for being able to spend time with my family during the holidays.” – Shannon Casey

“I am grateful to work in an office that has dogs, wine on Fridays and some of the smartest people I know.” – Victoria Newell

“I am grateful to have amazing people in my life—from friends and family to my coworkers at V2—who I am able to learn from, laugh with and celebrate with year-round!” – Jillian Saftel

“I’m thankful for spending time with my family around the holidays and of course, pumpkin pie.” – Brian Hough

In the spirit of gratitude and to participate in Giving Tuesday next week, V2 is shining a spotlight on and supporting our client Horizons for Homeless Children. Horizons is a nonprofit organization dedicated to improving the lives of young homeless children and their families. Founded in 1988, Horizons for Homeless Children is the only organization in the state that takes care of the children living in homeless shelters via its early education centers, its Family Partnership Program, and its Playspace Program, which provides safe places for children to play and learn within a homeless shelter. Horizons is collecting toys and other items for shelters this holiday season. Click here to help out!”
