V2 Communications Wins Multiple Best in Biz Awards!

Since our agency’s start, a commitment to deliver valuable, strategic counsel to our clients has inspired all our work, and so it’s incredibly gratifying when we’re recognized for those efforts. We’re honored to have recently been awarded not one but three Best in Biz Awards: Gold and Bronze in PR Campaign of the Year categories for our innovative campaigns for UiPath and DirectPath, respectively, as well as the Silver in PR Agency of the Year category.

The Best in Biz Award program is the only independent business awards program judged by prominent editors and reporters from top-tier publications in North America, and it is committed to recognizing high-caliber PR agencies and their work across a variety of industries. We are thrilled to be included amongst those ranks!

PR Campaign of the Year, Gold, for our work on behalf of UiPath

When UiPath, the leading vendor of Robotic Process Automation (RPA) technology, enlisted our agency, their mission for the partnership was two-fold: evolve the conversation around RPA to focus on how it’s changing the nature of work for the better and, in doing so, position UiPath as an industry thought-leader helming that change. To this end, our multi-pronged strategy focused on establishing a robust customer-intake program to gather and share the powerful stories of real UiPath users, while also positioning UiPath as executives as fixtures in the public discourse on RPA and AI to bolster the brand’s image as a tech giant. Within a year, our team secured over 500 pieces of media coverage – including a Forbes cover story for UiPath’s CEO, Daniel Dines – and increased UiPath’s global share of voice.

PR Campaign of the Year, Bronze, for our work on behalf of DirectPath

For DirectPath, an expert in the health benefits education and transparency niche, our team recognized the public’s growing demand for transparency in healthcare options as a chance to position DirectPath as a prominent educational authority on the matter. To achieve this, we secured DirectPath high-impact media coverage on the systemic problems causing a surge in medical costs and consumer tips for saving on care, with the latter topic expanded into an eBook that served as an ongoing educational resource to journalists. Additionally, we targeted HR media to explain the business value of arming employees with more healthcare benefits education (and where DirectPath could support). Our team accomplished our goal of solidifying DirectPath as a trusted, necessary resource for employers and employees (along with the brokers who serve them) looking to save.

PR Agency of the Year, Silver

To crown these campaign achievements, we were also awarded the Silver for PR Agency of the Year in recognition of the excellence our agency regularly delivers for clients as well as its empowering internal culture. In the year reviewed (2018), we added 28 new disruptor companies to our client roster (including two with valuations greater than $1 billion), rewarded 11 employee promotions and grew our revenue nine percent from 2017. We also expanded our global agency network with four new agency partnerships in Asia in addition to formalizing our crisis communications practice to provide clients with 24/7 strategic planning and counsel and the support needed to restore reputations post-crisis.

Of course, these accomplishments would not be possible without our incredibly talented team of PR pros producing unparalleled work. If you’re interested in joining our fast-growing agency, please visit our careers page.
