V2 Continues to Deliver Award-Winning Campaigns Amid Changing Media Landscape

The past year and a half has thrown its fair share of curveballs to PR agencies like ours. We’ve had to adapt to a media landscape completely consumed by breaking news while also amplifying our clients’ brands and increasing their SOV. At V2 though, we do more than just watch trends come and go. We investigate journalists’ media priorities so that we can create campaigns that not only move clients forward, but also push boundaries in the PR industry at large.  

We are always grateful to be recognized for our efforts, especially during these changing times, and are excited to share some of our recent successes! 

Bulldog PR Awards 

V2 was honored with the Best PR Podcast (Gold) and Best Use of Influencers (Bronze) at the 2021 Bulldog PR Awards. The Bulldog Awards are the only PR awards program judged exclusively by journalists. Their recognition is a testament to V2’s expertise in understanding how to connect with correspondents to keep our clients’ stories relevant, even in the recent volatile media terrain.  

When the pandemic struck, we recognized an opportunity to launch V2’s Virtual Content Studio and help clients continue reaching target audiences with quality content in one of the hottest formats today. In less than a year, we’ve ideated and produced ASG’s Digital: Disrupted podcast—which won us the Gold in Bulldog’s first ever PR Podcast category for its reach, impact and results-driven approach—to global acclaim, and have other client podcasts in the works. 

Another opportunity born out of the pandemic was our success with trends in virtual events and influencer relations. To fill the gap for our clients when industry events were canceled, V2 identified and secured influencers as guests for webinars and as hosts of virtual summits, such as the one we led for Decibel as part of our influencer strategy for the brand. We forecast that tapping influencers for events (physical or virtual) will continue to be advantageous in the post-pandemic world. 

Bell Ringer Awards 

V2 is also excited to be the recipients of six 2021 Bell Ringer Awards for excellence in the categories- Brand Building (GRAX), Series of Media Placements (Rave and Nuance), Podcasting (ASG), Response to Breaking News (Markforged) and Healthcare (CarePort). Bell Ringers are awarded by the PR Club for work that “demonstrates excellence in creative planning and superior execution.” We are deeply appreciative to our clients and partners who encourage us to be creative, take risks and try new approaches to continue to be on the forefront of the PR field. 

Against the challenges of the past year-plus, the V2 team has continued to drive our clients’ businesses forward, and it is gratifying to have our efforts recognized. By studying and pivoting to respond to the increasing speed of the news cycle, we have kept our clients at the forefront of their industries while growing V2’s expertise and offerings.
