V2 Integrates In-Demand Services with New Sponsored Content Offering

The explosive growth in digital channels, shrinking of traditional newsrooms and evolving publishing business models have changed the communications game. Attaining brand awareness takes more than earned media coverage alone. Paid media programs are no longer passe – in fact, we believe they will be a core part of the communications industry well into the future.

In that spirit and keeping with our commitment to deliver “Big ideas. Bold moves. Better outcomes.”, today we are excited to formally unveil our Sponsored Content Services.

For those of us who have been in the business long enough and remember working with the North American Precis Syndicate (NAPS) or participated in lively debates on branded content more than a decade before influencers made millions off it, sponsored content is nothing new. And, at V2, we’ve long developed strategies and executed campaigns with sponsored content elements. But the current media environment and evolving audience consumption habits call for a robust and formalized set of sponsored solutions.

And we listened.

Our sponsored content services bring together two of V2’s most in-demand offerings: our high-impact media relations programs and our compelling content capabilities. Spanning written, visual and video formats, sponsored content extends many of the benefits of traditional earned media programs, while at the same time overcoming challenges related to controlling the message, targeting the right audiences and measuring impact.

The comprehensive suite of six service offerings are designed to integrate seamlessly with existing core programs and support not only communications goals, but also demand, employer brand and corporate communications initiatives we know are of particular importance in the current environment. The services span from expert councils and influencer content programs already very prevalent among our clients, to exciting and more innovative offerings with native advertising, newsletter/podcast sponsorships and video-based storytelling.
