Meet Emily Lospennato, V2’s Newest VP

ICYMI: V2 recently added a new VP to its team of PR mavens—Emily Lospennato! Emily rejoins the agency after serving as in-house public relations counsel at New England Law | Boston and Metro Credit Union, where she developed and executed marketing programs with an emphasis on PR and social media. She originally joined V2 in 2013 after getting her M.S. in Public Relations at Boston University’s College of Communication – and we’re thrilled to welcome her back

With a background in creative writing and musical theater, Emily is a born storyteller and media relations expert. Keep reading to get to know her.

What’s your favorite part about working in PR?

I love the fast-paced nature of the business and how every day brings new opportunities and challenges. I also deeply value the relationships I’ve built over the years with colleagues and clients. It’s an extremely collaborative industry so you tend to bond quickly with the people you’re working with.

What about V2 drew you back to it?

V2 is a special place and has always felt like home to me, so I think I was destined to return! Jean and Maura are amazing leaders and I’m fortunate to be able to work closely with them again and learn more from them. I’m also excited to rejoin agency life. I really missed the energy and the ability to constantly bounce ideas off teammates.

What’re you most excited for in your new role as VP?

I’m looking forward to engaging with new clients – and even working with a former favorite from my previous V2 days! It’s always exciting to learn about new companies and technologies.

Fun fact about yourself?

When I’m not at V2, I’m singing on stage! Pre-pandemic, I performed regularly with several local musical theater groups.

Workstation must-haves?

Copious amounts of coffee no matter where I am – and a nice candle burning if I’m in the safety of my own home!

As V2 sets its sights on ambitious growth goals for 2021, Emily will play a key role driving business success for both her clients and the agency at large. Welcome back, Emily!
